Governance

Toward a Completely New Governance Model

We are moving toward the implementation of a completely new governance model for the Ambassador Network. This transformation is closely linked to the introduction of an innovative organizational structure aimed at optimizing collaboration and impact across the network.

The new framework will be based on a matrix organization, incorporating six Special Interest Groups dedicated to critical areas:

  • Infection Prevention & Control
  • Antimicrobial Stewardship
  • Diagnostics
  • Antimicrobials
  • Environment
  • Mentoring.

Additionally, Country Chapters will be established to address region-specific challenges while contributing to the global mission.

Representatives from the Special Interest Groups and Country Chapters will form the Operational Management Team, responsible for steering the network’s operations and strategy. This team will be supported by an Advisory Board to provide expert guidance and ensure robust decision-making.

This entirely new governance structure is designed to foster dynamic collaboration, streamline operations, and empower the network to take a leadership role in the fight against Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR).
